Objective: Discuss creation of blockchain and user stories.
Agenda:
- Share findings regarding tasks assigned last meeting.
- Finalise approach for BlockChain.
- Discuss user stories and diagrams for e-voting.
Summary:
- Team has analysed both the Data Layer and Network Layer, focusing on a P2P layer that should facilitate node connections through LAN forwarding without manual intervention.
- Team considering using WebRTC or similar protocols, leveraging DHT, private/public keys, and PubSub, and implementing asynchronous code for sending and receiving data.
- Team encountered blockchain frameworks such as Hyperledger Fabric and ETH that could be used instead of creating our own blockchain.
- Finalised 2 approach for building blockchain:
- Building blockchain from scratch using peerjs or libp2p library.
- Building blockchain using framework such as Hyperledger Fabric or ETH.
- Team came up with voting phases, user stories, use case diagrams and use case descriptions.
